　　【數(shù)詞】

　　數(shù)詞是用來(lái)表示事物的數(shù)目和順序的詞。數(shù)詞分為基數(shù)詞和序數(shù)詞兩種。表示"多少"的詞叫做基數(shù)詞。表示"第幾"的詞叫做序數(shù)詞。

　　基數(shù)詞的表示法

　　基本的基數(shù)詞，用以下的基數(shù)詞可以構(gòu)成各種各樣的數(shù)字。

　　一. 1～12

　　1 one 2 two 3 three 4 four 5 five 6 six 7 seven 8 eight 9 nine 10 ten 11 eleven

　　二. 13～19

　　12 twelve 13 thirteen 14 fourteen 15 fifteen 16 sixteen 17 seventeen 18 eighteen 19 nineteen

　　三. 20～90

　　20 twenty 30 thirty 40 forty 50 fifty 60 sixty 70 seventy 80 eighty 90 ninety

　　四. 100～1億萬(wàn)

　　100 a hundred

　　1, 000 a thousand

　　1, 000, 000 a million

　　1. 21～99的表示法

　　先說(shuō)"幾十"，再說(shuō)"幾"，中間要加連字符"-"。

　　21：twenty-one

　　98：ninety-eight

　　2. 101~999的表示法

　　先說(shuō)"幾百"，后加"and"，再加"末兩位數(shù)"，或"末位數(shù)"。

　　101：one hundred and one

　　310：three hundred and ten

　　524：five hundred and twenty-four

　　注意：這里的hundred不能加復(fù)數(shù)后綴"s"。

　　3. 1000以上數(shù)的表示法

　　從個(gè)位數(shù)算起，每三位加一個(gè)分節(jié)號(hào)"，" 。先進(jìn)個(gè)"，"前為thousand;第二個(gè)分節(jié)號(hào)"，"前為million;第三個(gè)分節(jié)號(hào)"，"前為billion。

　　注意：這里的thousand, million, billion的后面不能加復(fù)數(shù)后綴"s"。

　　3,004：three thousand and four

　　8,975：eight thousand, nine hundred and seventy-five

　　254,400：two hundred and fifty-four thousand and four hundred

　　5,540,000：five million, five hundred and forty thousand

　　1,200,000,000：one billion and two hundred million

　　30,000,000,000：thirty billion

　　用英語(yǔ)表達(dá)時(shí)，分節(jié)號(hào)的地方可以仍用"，"表示，也可用"and"表示。

　　序數(shù)詞的表達(dá)法

　　first 1st 先進(jìn)

　　second 2nd 第二

　　third 3rd 第三

　　fourth 4th 第四

　　fifth 5th 第五

　　sixth 6th 第六

　　seventh 7th 第七

　　eighth 8th 第八

　　ninth 9th 第九

　　tenth 10th 第十

　　分?jǐn)?shù)的表達(dá)

　　分?jǐn)?shù)的分子用基數(shù)詞表示，分母用序數(shù)詞表示。分子大于一時(shí)，分母用序數(shù)詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式表示。

　　二分之一 one half

　　三分之一 one-third

　　三分之二 two-thirds

　　四分之一 one-fourth(one quarter)

　　四分之三 three-fourths

　　二又四分之三 two and three-fourths

　　序數(shù)詞的特殊用法

　　序數(shù)詞前用不定冠詞表示"又一"。

　　You need a second pair of shoes. 你還需要一雙鞋子。

　　We'll have to do it a second time. 我們得重做一遍。

　　Shall I ask him a third time? (我已問(wèn)了他兩次)還要問(wèn)一次嗎?

　　小數(shù)的讀法

　　1.6 one point six

　　0.6 naught point six(英)/zero point six(美)/point six

　　4.005 four point naught naught five

　　0.006 naught point naught naught six /point naught naught six

　　百分?jǐn)?shù)的句法功能

　　1. 百分?jǐn)?shù)由 "per cent"表示，常常和"by"連用作狀語(yǔ)：

　　The price was reduced by 18 percent.

　　價(jià)格下降了百分之十八。

　　注意："percent" 不能加"s"。

　　2. 百分?jǐn)?shù)有時(shí)也能作定語(yǔ)或賓語(yǔ)：

　　The March figure for output value registered a 37 per cent increase over February.

　　三月份的產(chǎn)值比二月份增長(zhǎng)百分之三十七。

　　The loss of metal has been reduced to less than 20%.

　　金屬損耗減少到百分之二十以下。

　　數(shù)詞和編號(hào)問(wèn)題

　　1. 數(shù)字較小的時(shí)候，可以用基數(shù)詞表示也可用序數(shù)詞表示，如：

　　the second part = part two 第二部分

　　the third exercise = 第三個(gè)訓(xùn)練

　　2. 數(shù)字較大的時(shí)候，用基數(shù)詞比較簡(jiǎn)約，如：

　　Room 501 第501號(hào)房間

　　Page 1205 第1205面

　　年月日的表達(dá)

　　1. 年份

　　1949 nineteen forty-nine

　　1918 nineteen eighteen

　　1806 eighteen six/ eighteen o six

　　1990s/ 1990’s nineteen nineties

　　March 8(th)

　　March (the) eighth/ the eighth of March

　　時(shí)刻的表達(dá)

　　08:00 eight o’clock/ eight

　　分鐘不超過(guò)30分的表達(dá)

　　08:15 a quarter past nine(英) /a quarter after nine(美) /eight fifteen

　　10:12 twelve past ten / twelve after ten /ten twelve

　　分鐘為30分的表達(dá)

　　06:30 half past /six half after six /six thirty

　　分鐘超過(guò)30分的表達(dá)
