英語(yǔ)作為小孩子的第二語(yǔ)言,既給孩子們帶來(lái)了一個(gè)全新的知識(shí)領(lǐng)域,又給他們帶來(lái)了如何適應(yīng)不同語(yǔ)言的難題。在英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中,興趣是向?qū),是孩子打開(kāi)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的大門(mén)。哪里沒(méi)有興趣,哪里就沒(méi)有記憶(歌德)。因此,在教學(xué)過(guò)程中,如何讓孩子有學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣是一個(gè)挑戰(zhàn)。
小學(xué)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)可以分為三部分:語(yǔ)音音標(biāo)、語(yǔ)法、詞組積累。小學(xué)課本的內(nèi)容以故事的形式展開(kāi),有助于孩子們對(duì)課文內(nèi)容的背誦。
我的職業(yè)是家教老師,教學(xué)方式是一對(duì)一,因而能夠根據(jù)孩子的特點(diǎn)有針對(duì)地提高英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)興趣,不足的是不能像班級(jí)授課那樣使孩子間有相互競(jìng)爭(zhēng),共同進(jìn)步的動(dòng)力。我的授課內(nèi)容其實(shí)是一個(gè)復(fù)習(xí)補(bǔ)充的過(guò)程,更多的是針對(duì)一些診斷來(lái)進(jìn)行的。
根據(jù)我的結(jié)合近期的教學(xué)活動(dòng),我總結(jié)加強(qiáng)學(xué)習(xí)興趣方法如下:
一 提高閱讀興趣
小孩子的心理比較脆弱,容易受到閱讀中一些生僻的單詞打擊,因而一定要在閱讀前鼓勵(lì)他們,讓他們有信心去克服難題。
George was a quiet, serious young man. He had been studying very very hard one year, and when he passed all his exams, his friend Jim went to give him his congratulations and then had an earnest talk with him. “You've never been to a dance, George, ” he said. “It's boring always studying and never enjoying oneself. Come out with me this evening.” “Maybe you're right, Jim,” replied George after a moment's hesitation. So they went to a dance and had a very good time. But George drank more than he was used to, and by midnight Jim had become worried about him, so he said, “ now we'll walk home in the cool air.” On their way home, they came to a bridge, and George looked down at the river below very carefully, the stars were reflected in its surface. “What are those lights down there?” George asked. “They're the stars, George,” Jim answered. The stars?” George said. “Well, then, they should be above in the sky. How did I get so high up here? They are now at my foot!
本篇較長(zhǎng),可考驗(yàn)孩子的耐心和細(xì)心程度,在教學(xué)過(guò)程中,我鼓勵(lì)孩子先不要做題,而是不管文章中有多少生詞都要硬著頭皮讀下去,讀完后告訴我這個(gè)文章主要說(shuō)了些什么,只要孩子耐下心來(lái),讀懂這篇文章肯定沒(méi)問(wèn)題,之后再讓他們做題,一般五題做對(duì)四題。做對(duì)一篇文章會(huì)使孩子建立起信心,養(yǎng)成一個(gè)良好的做題習(xí)慣,這樣才能有興趣去讀更多的文章。
二 提高說(shuō)的興趣
1.What do you usually do on holidays?
2.Who do you like to spend your holidays with?
3.Where do you usually pass your holidays?
4.How do you feel about your holidays?
5.Do holidays help you very much?
6.Are you satisfied with your holidays?
7.Why do you choose to d these things?
8.What’s your favourite holiday?
以上是三以口語(yǔ)的重要話題,孩子們都比較愛(ài)表現(xiàn)自己,而且平時(shí)閱讀面也較廣。因而,讓他們開(kāi)口說(shuō)少有不是問(wèn)題,難的是讓他們正確地用英文表達(dá)自己想說(shuō)的內(nèi)容。這就需要他們自己整理平時(shí)所學(xué)表達(dá),我的方法就是先問(wèn)孩子問(wèn)題,回去后寫(xiě)出整理好,這樣就可以發(fā)現(xiàn)常錯(cuò)的表達(dá)方法,雖然在復(fù)習(xí)的時(shí)候,雖然孩子可能給出新的回答版本,可是他已經(jīng)知道自己較容易錯(cuò)在哪,就會(huì)盡力去避免。
以上兩方面是我在教學(xué)過(guò)程中的感受,還有一點(diǎn)就是要激發(fā)孩子主動(dòng)發(fā)現(xiàn)問(wèn)題的能力,在課上我采用的是順延法“你說(shuō)的可能有道理,那么按你的想法,我們這樣理解……”,這樣一步一步下去,孩子就會(huì)主動(dòng)發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的問(wèn)題,同時(shí)每個(gè)知識(shí)點(diǎn)結(jié)束后,讓孩子自己講課也很重要,這樣才能確定他是不是真正掌握所學(xué)內(nèi)容。
